.XXX domain registry gets rejected !

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers has rejected a controversial proposal to create a new .xxx domain suffix for adult Web sites.

On Friday the 30th of March 2007 the ICANN voted 5/9 to deny the application from ICA Registry. This is the first time the ICANN ejected anything like this and for the past few years ICA Registry has been seeking to get a registry for adult content websites.

Mobile phones & brain

"When you try to call someone through mobile phone, don't put your mobile closer to your ears until the recipient answers, Because directly after dialing, the mobile phone would use it's maximum signaling power, which is: 2watts = 33dbi."

I dunno whether that is correct or wrong but anyway the recent studies have proven the radiation of the mobile phones do not affect the brain, specially to cause cancer. However, the medical research team pointed out the usage of mobile phones for 10 years or more can cause problems to the human body but the good news is that it has not been proven yet :D
