I'm looking at you through the glass...
Don't know how much time has passed
Oh, god it feels like forever
But no one ever tells you that forever
Feels like home sitting all alone inside your head

How do you feel? That is the question
But I forget.. you don't expect an easy answer
When something like a soul becomes
Initialized and folded up like paper dolls and little notes
You can't expect a bit of hope
So while you're outside looking in
Describing what you see
Remember what you're staring at is me

Cause I'm looking at you through the glass...
Don't know how much time has passed
All I know is that it feels like forever
When no one ever tells you that forever
Feels like home, sitting all alone inside your head

How much is real? So much to question
An epidemic of the mannequins
Contaminating everything
When thought came from the heart
It never did right from the start
Just listen to the noises
(Null and void instead of voices)
Before you tell yourself
It's just a different scene
Remember it's just different from what you've seen

I'm looking at you through the glass...
Don't know how much time has passed
And all I know is that it feels like forever
When no one ever tells you that forever
Feels like home, sitting all alone inside your head

And it's the starrrssss
The sttarrrsss
That shine for you
And it's the starrrssss
The sttarrrsss
That lie to you.. yeah-ah

I'm looking at you through the glass...
Don't know how much time has passed
Oh, god it feels like forever
But no one ever tells you that forever
Feels like home, sitting all alone inside your head

'Cause I'm looking at you through the glass...
Don't know how much time has passed
All I know is that it feels like forever
But no one ever tells you that forever
Feels like home, sitting all alone inside your heaaaaddd

And it's the starrrssss
The sttarrrsss
That shine for you.. yeah-ah
And it's the starrrssss
The sttarrrsss
That lie to you.. yeah-ah

And it's the starrrssss
The sttarrrsss
That shine for you.. yeah-ah
And it's the starrrssss
The sttarrrsss
That lie to you.. yeah-ah yeah

Ohhhoh when the starrs
Ohhh oh when the starrrrs that liieee

Hate people who use Microsoft Office 2007 already ?

The latest Microsoft Office version (2007) displays considerable amount of changes compared to the older versions such as (2000, 2002 or XP and 2003). In older versions the changes were minimum; at least they were not visible to the user.

But in 2007 version, leaving the weird tabbed toolbar aside, a significant change is the new file format which ends with an x. The popular “.doc” extension given for Microsoft Office Word files have now been changed to “.docx”. These new documents are capable of carrying information’s of new functionalities; Office 2007 also offers the facility to Save As a “.doc” file, in which case some content become non-editable but will work on older versions.

However once you start using it you just hit the “ctrl + s” or click on the save icon to save the files and the document automatically gets saved in the latest format which is NOT compatible with the previous versions of Microsoft Office. This annoys lot of people because the majority is still using the previous versions of Microsoft Office.

So if you’re one of those people who get annoyed, Microsoft has come up with a solution for you. They have released Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007 File Formats. All you have to do is make sure your computer has the latest Windows and Office updates installed. Then simply download this and install, and you’ll be able to continently handle the x problem :D

Google is over confidant

Recently i notice some bugs, and errors in Google websites, specially in Gmail. This is not how Google used to be, everything was perfect at least the websites were functioning correctly. Gmail takes a long time to load initially and if the internet connection is slow then a message should appear giving the user a chance to switch to a basic interface but it takes forever to display even this message.

On Google's home page i noticed a link called "Mobile" this link has been down about a week now. Then i thought of complaining this issue but suddenly i realize there is no way to give direct feedback to Google. All of these are very disappointing and i think Google is over confident now, if they continue this soon they'll run into disaster.

Interview: aXXo, The Most Popular DVD Ripper on BitTorrent

The following article was taken off a website called TorrentFreak and it was quite interesting because we all love aXXo's movies ... read it and see.

In real life, aXXo is probably just an average person, but on the Internet he’s a celebrity, with over a million people downloading his DVDrips every month. The search term “aXXo” is among the top searches on every torrent site, and even anti-piracy organizations use his name to trap people into downloading fake torrents. We had the chance to ask him a few questions, and find out a little more about him.

For those of you who never heard of aXXo, he is responsible for hundreds of DVDrips that find their way to millions of PCs around the world. Most of the rips are 700MB, made to fit on a single CD. Some have criticized his preference for single CD rips because of the inferior video quality, but most pirates agree that he does a great job.

Earlier this year aXXo temporarily stopped uploading movies because axxotorrents.com was trying to profit from his name. After a few weeks that site went down, and aXXo continued releasing DVDrips.

Most of the time it is impossible to track down the source of DVDrips, especially with people from “the scene“. But aXXo is not a member of the scene, and although was not very talkative either, he was at least willing to answer a few questions.

TorrentFreak: When did you start ripping / uploading DVDrips?
aXXo: When I was about 15 or 16 I got into backing up my old DVD’s. History from there.

TorrentFreak: What motivates you to share these movies?
aXXo: Why not? If I see a great film I believe everyone has the right to be entertained by it.

TorrentFreak: Don’t you think that ripping and uploading these (copyrighted) movies is wrong?
aXXo: No not really. It was just for me and some mates at first.

TorrentFreak: Are you alone in this, Or do you get help from others?
aXXo: No help, It’s all me.

TorrentFreak: You seem to prefer 700MB rips, and not higher quality ones, why is this?
aXXo: Very little (if any) Loss of quality, and will fit on a Single Music CD.

TorrentFreak: On which torrent sites do you release this movies, and why not just on one?
aXXo: There are quite a few I release to. Many people prefer one site over the rest, and I want to spread these as much as possible.

TorrentFreak: What do you think of sites that (mis)use your name, like axxotorrents.com?
aXXo: This is a touchy subject. I have nothing against any of them, it was a complete misunderstanding and the issue has been cleared up. They are reliable, And I have checked every torrent on there thus far to be real.

TorrentFreak: How can people tell if the torrent is not a scam, or a fake torrent?
aXXo: If it’s a RAR archive, It’s not mine. My rips will contain 2 or 3 files. One info and one .avi files. On occasion a .txt file but that will stop.

TorrentFreak: Where do you get the movies, and do you use scene releases as well?
aXXo: …

TorrentFreak: Do you think that distributing these (copyrighted) movies is morally wrong? That is, do you consider sharing shows to be the same as stealing?
aXXo: Thank god in this country we don’t believe in copyright infringement. It’s just sharing entertainment, nothing more.

TorrentFreak: Okay, perhaps this one is easier to answer. What is your favorite BitTorrent site?
aXXo: I don’t have one. Darksiderg.com is where my original releases are, But I release to many. Superfundo, Demonoid, MiniNova, The Pirate Bay.

TorrentFreak: Anything you want to add to this?
aXXo: Upload what you’ve downloaded, and then some.

TorrentFreak: Thanks!
aXXo: You’re welcome.

Green Diagonal Line

If you're using subtitles with the videos you're watching specially movies, some of you must have come across this problem, a green diagonal line appearing across the screen/video and this is really annoying.
I faced this few times so i thought of writing about it since there isn't much help regarding this problem on the net. The reason is your subtitles, if you simply remove your subtitles file you won't get this but whats the point it isn't a solution. so keeping that as the last resort, lets look at the cause of this problem.
The video player basically uses a plug-in called DirectVobSub and some players have this integrated, and green line appears simply because of a bug in the plug-in; but unfortunately for us this cannot be complained, the reason is the website and all the support have been closed down.

So the only possible solution is to update the plug-in, this can be done by replacing the relevant DLL file. The file is named 'VSFilter.dll' depending on the player this could be anywhere. It could be copied into your system files folders such as "%systemroot%" or "%systemroot%\system32" (type this in RUN without the quotations) otherwise it should be in your player's folder. The best method i suggest is that you perform a search for the file name.

Once the file has been located goto this link and download the latest package. Inside you'll find a folder called 'Release' under that you should find the 'VSFilter.dll' file. Replace this with your existing one and if your file was located in the systems folder then type the following command in RUN.

"regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\vsfilter.dll" please change the path to where it is located in your computer.

Otherwise if it is located in the player's folder such as under 'program files' then just replace the file no need to execute the above command.

This should basically solve your problem, if it doesn't im sorry i can't help. Then i suggest you remove the subtitles file and watch :P

.XXX domain registry gets rejected !

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers has rejected a controversial proposal to create a new .xxx domain suffix for adult Web sites.

On Friday the 30th of March 2007 the ICANN voted 5/9 to deny the application from ICA Registry. This is the first time the ICANN ejected anything like this and for the past few years ICA Registry has been seeking to get a registry for adult content websites.

Mobile phones & brain

"When you try to call someone through mobile phone, don't put your mobile closer to your ears until the recipient answers, Because directly after dialing, the mobile phone would use it's maximum signaling power, which is: 2watts = 33dbi."

I dunno whether that is correct or wrong but anyway the recent studies have proven the radiation of the mobile phones do not affect the brain, specially to cause cancer. However, the medical research team pointed out the usage of mobile phones for 10 years or more can cause problems to the human body but the good news is that it has not been proven yet :D

Why use Gmail ?

I know most of you must have seen this video, but just thought of giving Gmail some publicity ...

Personally i prefer Gmail because the facilities i enjoy in it. it really redefined the old boring email into one happening email account. although Yahoo! and Hotmail nicely followed everything Gmail offered, they still can't beat Gmail i would say...

Hanging around girls

A woman has a close male friend. This means that he is probably interested in her, which is why he hangs around so much. She sees him strictly as a friend. This always starts out with, you're a great guy, but I don't like you in that way. This is roughly the equivalent for the guy of going to a job interview and the company saying, You have a great resume, you have all the qualifications we are looking for, but we're not going to hire you. We will, however, use your resume as the basis for comparison for all other applicants. But, we're going to hire somebody who is far less qualified and is probably an alcoholic. And if he doesn't work out, we'll hire somebody else, but still not you. In fact, we will never hire you. But we will call you from time to time to complain about the person that we hired.

I found out this through Lohitha, however its written by a person called DragonflyBlade21 (god knows who). Anyway its kinda true i guess ...

Huh ?

The largest software development company in the world Microsoft, launched its new operating system Windows Vista. The operating systems comes in several versions,
  1. Windows Vista Starter Edition
  2. Windows Vista Home Basic
  3. Windows Vista Home Basic Upgrade
  4. Windows Vista Home Premium
  5. Windows Vista Home Premium Upgrade
  6. Windows Vista Business
  7. Windows Vista Business Upgrade
  8. Windows Vista Ultimate
  9. Windows Vista Ultimate Upgrade
  10. Windows Vista Enterprise Edition
No one really understands the version differences of these but there lot of opinions about these; either way the installation procedure of this is yet to be sorted out. Some versions require previous versions of Windows installed such as 2000/XP and those CD Keys.

However, i feel this is very complicated and messy and from the users perspective there is nothing much to be Wowed about it. Probably the results of Vista will be revealed in the future but definitely not now.

In the mean time Apple is catching up the market so fast, an operating system with less complications, very easy even a child can install and run the operating system. The Apple is even better with the support for the Windows operating systems and now powered by world renown Intel processors and best of all, it comes for the same price.

Anyway, we'll just wait and see what happens; for those who are thinking of Vista right now... Think twice ...

DAVE

The Digital Audio Video Experience is a unit which houses a 1.8in hard drive available in either 10GB or 20GB capacities. There is also a USB port. So far so very normal.

Where things get innovative however is in Dave’s other connectivity. The drive sports Bluetooth and WiFi and can be paired with any Bluetooth capable device – be it a phone, PDA or laptop – and act as wireless storage. Once paired the device can navigate Dave as if he were any traditional storage device and transfer files, play media or even perform backups.

Since Dave is designed to be completely independent of your connected devices he is equipped with his own battery (10 hours operation) and even sports a microprocessor to power all his connectivity. As for the dent he’ll make in your pocket, it will be similar to that of a small mobile phone with measurements of 61 x 89 x 12mm and 70g weight.

Interestingly, Seagate won’t be marketing Dave itself but instead negotiating direct with manufacturers in the hope they will bundle him with their handsets.

With an anticipated RRP of around $200 Dave doesn’t come cheap and with memory card capacities increasing exponentially he is surely only a stop gap product. But he’s a cool stop gap product and we wouldn’t want to hurt his feelings.

Look for Dave when he is likely to be rechristened Nokia, Motorola, Samsung or Sony Ericsson around May/June.
